In February 2016, River Books, Chakrabongse Villas, 

Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Rajini School and Museum Siam presented the debut of BangkokEdge, Bangkok’s first ideas festival - the premier cultural event in the heart of old Bangkok, offering thought-provoking discussions, stimulating entertainment and lively workshops for people of all ages.

In 2017 the festival organisers will host a series of local, literary events on selected Saturdays at Chakrabongse Villas.

 

Due to the death of our beloved king, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the festival has been postponed until 2018. BangkokEdge will return with a weekend of literature, film, photography, music, dance, talks, workshops and performances.
