Soravij Bhirombhakdi, a fourth-generation heir to the Bhirombhakdi family, studied in England from the age of 10. He pursued his B.A. and M.A. in International Business from University of Denver, Colorado, USA. After graduation, he worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for 11 years and was stationed at the Royal Thai Embassy in Santiago, Chile. Leaving the foreign service, he began working for his family business, holding the position of Deputy Managing Director at Boon Rawd Trading International Co., Ltd. which is one of Boon Rawd Brewery’s subsidiaries. In 2013, Soravij established a new division which has become known as Singha Museum Co., Ltd., a publisher of Singha Magazine, a quarterly magazine for the company’s 10,000 employees. Soravij’s latest publications are Raruek Tueng Khun Phu Wit Bhirombhakdi (In memory of Grandpa Wit Bhirombhakdi) and Tumnarn Taan Chao Khun (The Legend of His Lordship), a biography of Phaya Bhirombhakdi.
