Sean Chadwell 

Sean Chadwell has lived and worked in the United States, India, China, and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. As an assistant and associate professor at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX from 1998 to 2009, he taught literature, writing, and film studies courses and served as Chair of the Department of Language and Literature.

 

Sean Chadwell เคยพำนักในหลายประเทศ เช่น อเมริกา อินเดีย จีน และ ลาว ระหว่าง พ.ศ. 2541 ถึง พ.ศ. 2552 เขาเป็นผู้ช่วยศาษตราจารย์ที่มหาวิทยาลัย  Texas A&M International University ในเมือง Laredo, เท็กซัส และสอนอักษรศาษตร์ การประพันธ์ และการศึกษาภาพยนตร์  ชาวพม่า เขาเริ่มทำงานในวงการภาพยนตร์โดยการถ่ายโฆษณา เอ็มวี และ สารคดีภาพยนตร์เรื่องแรกที่เขาเป็นผู้กับชื่อ The Crocodile Creek ชึ่งได้ฉาย ที่เทศกาล ที่สิงคโปร์ เซอร์เบีย และ เนปาล

 

 

Living in India from 2009 through 2011, he served as a volunteer teacher instructor at a rural school for low-caste girls near Pune before moving to Shanghai, China in 2010 to join an effort to develop an American-style liberal arts college there.

In 2014, he moved for the first time to Luang Prabang, becoming involved with the Luang Prabang Film Festival as a volunteer. After returning to the U.S. in 2016 and resuming academic administrative work in Louisiana, he rejoined the LPFF organization as its executive director in 2019, happily re-relocating to Laos.

เขาเริ่มทำงานกับ luang prabang film festival ในฐานะอาสาสมัครชั่วคราวใน พ.ศ. 2557 ก่อนที่จะกลับมาเป็นผู้อำนวยการบริหารใน พ.ศ. 2562 และอาศัยในประเทศลาว
