Anjan Sundaram          

Anjan Sundaram is the author of Bad News: Last Journalists in a Dictatorship (Ingabire prize, Moore prize, PEN America prize finalist, Amazon Best Book of 2016) and Stringer: A Reporter’s Journey in the Congo (Royal African Society Book of the Year in 2014, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, BBC Book of the Week). His journalism has been awarded a Frontline Club prize and a Reuters prize, and been shortlisted for the Prix Bayeux and Kurt Schork award. Anjan graduated from Yale with a master’s in mathematics. He holds a PhD in creative writing from the University of East Anglia.
