Jung Chang

 

Jung Chang, a Chinese-born British writer living in London, is internationally known for her moving family autobiography Wild Swans (translated into Thai under the title Hong Pa and published by Nanmee Books) which has sold over 13 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 37 languages. In 2010 she published a biography of Mao Zedong with her husband John Halliday, followed in 2013 by a biography of Empress Dowager Cixi.

 

The author will illuminate some untold corners of Chinese history in a conversation with Krys Lee in Jung Chang on Wild Swans and the Concubine who launched modern China.
