Niramon Kulsrisombat

 

Niramon Kulsrisombat earned a BA in architecture from Chulalongkorn University and an MA and Ph.D in city planning from Tokyo University.

 

She is a lecturer on planning at Chulalongkorn University. She initiated the Gudee Jin-Klong San restoration project in 2009 in conjunction with local community organisations, as well as outside development agencies such as the Siam Architects association, the Rockefeller Foundation and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. Currently she is director of the Urban Design and Development Center and head of important urban restoration projects such as the Yannawa Riverfront Project, Bangkok 250 and Walkable Cities. She is part of the Our Bangkok - How should it be? panel.
