Sarinee Achavanuntakul

 

Writer, translator and independent academic, Sarinee graduated in economics from Harvard University with an MBA from New York University. She worked for eight years in investment banking, before deciding to devote her time to writing and research.

 

Currently Sarinee lectures and shares her knowledge on business economics and social change through various media. She is one of the founders of the people’s network and co-founded the Creative Commons in Thailand. She is founder and publisher of Jai Khob Press, co-founder of The World Open Publishing House in 2011 and the online news agency Thailand Publica as well as in 2013 the co-founder and managing director of the knowledge development department in The Pa Sala Limited. She is part of the Our Bangkok - How should it be? panel.
