Xavier Comas
Xavier is a fine arts graduate of the University of Barcelona who relies on chance to create his works, using photography and writing to illustrate the bonds he builds with people and places.
His work has been published and exhibited in Europe and Asia, as well as being featured by prominent magazines throughout the world. In order to create his most notable work to date, The House of the Raja, Comas immersed himself in the deep south of Thailand for over a year, living with a local family. The resulting images are magical and evocative, reflecting the multi-layered nature of this troubled region.
In his Photo book workshop, Xavier will show budding photographers how to tell a story through images and select the best pictures.
